Summer Term Topics

I am Warrior

We are going to be learning about the Romans. All of our history, geography, art and DT lessons are going to teach us all about this topic.

Blue Abyss

We will be learning all about under the sea. This topic will be predominantly a science and art topic.

Enrichment Activites

As we haven’t been able to go out on trips this year, we have been lucky enough to have had lots of art activities such as working with an artist to paint a mural and taking part in an Eco Capabilities art project which involves artists visiting the school and taking us outside to create work inspired by nature.

Class Information

Important Information

We have PE lessons on Tuesday afternoons with the Premier Sports Coaches, so don’t forget your PE kit.

We also do 10 minutes of morning exercises daily either circuit training outside or a Joe Wicks session indoors if it is raining.

Home reading books are changed every Friday and will be sent home with a list of spellings to practise. We will have been practising these spellings during the week but do make sure you practise at home before the test on Monday morning.

Behaviour

We earn stars to gain a whole class treat once everyone has earned 20 stars. We can gain stars by following the 5 class rules all day. At the end of the day we self assess if we have followed the rules. We can also gain extra stars by being amazing! We have chosen treats such as extra playtime, films, art activities, parties and PJ days.
